Hi! I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am advised by Professor Mihai Pop. My research interests include algorithms, statistics, and its applications to facilitate biological research. My current work uses insights from string algorithms, computation, and graph algorithms to develop efficient techniques for taxonomic characterization of microbiome sequencing data.
